A gifted licensed marriage and family therapist in private practice since 1988, Dr. Peter Gero specializes in working with children of all ages and their families. His current areas of specialty include ADHD, behavioral and social issues, families dealing with divorce and those with open DCFS cases. He provides individual, family, and couples counseling in his office in La Canada.
In addition, Dr. Gero is the founder and director of the BLAST (Building Lasting Success Together) program. BLAST is an after school social skills program for children ages 5 – 17 designed to assist them in learning how to build and maintain friendships through experiential game play.
